My Brandon was 18 this past May. He has been talking about joining the Marine Corp ever since he was 12 years old. When he graduated he worked for several months with my husband while he made absolutely sure that he wanted to join. He went to MEPS a couple of months ago and took his ASVAB test, passed the physical exam and he leaves for boot camp on March 25th.. My husband was in the Marine Corp, and I am so proud that Brandon will be carrying on the tradition. I will miss him terribly, but he is so excited to start his career and we are happy for him. As the day comes closer to the time he will leave I get a little more panicky inside.. my thoughts go back to the day I gave birth to him. We were so happy to have another boy and the nurses were so excited to have a red headed baby in the nursery! He was the cutest little guy.. big chubby cheeks and such a good baby. Now, he is a young handsome Marine Corp Poolee! He is the best kid, I am not just saying that because he is my child, he really is a good kid... I love spending time with him, we have the same sense of humor always helps without complaining and is a joy to be around. I love you Brandon!! Congratulations on your career as an Aviation Electronics Technician, now go kick some butt!!!

I love my garden!
These black eyed susans are really hug now, some are the size of your hand almost!
My hubby got me two rose bushes for my birthday in January, I am so thrilled to have roses this year.
I have no idea what these little yellow flowers are.. the close up at night. I love yellow.
Onion top with pole beans wrapped around.
We have tomatoes!
I love spending time in our garden and watching all the birds at the feeders and bird baths. It is so peaceful.
